Determine appropriate corrective actions to minimize disruptions and maintain our high standards of reliability.
  • Technical Assistance: Provide Engineering support as needed for attitude discrepancies affecting aircraft or parts to restore operational status. Respond to requests from Maintenance and other carrier departments when technical assistance is needed to support operations or resolve issues.
  • Project Planning: Develop action plans for fleet or multi-fleet and component Engineering projects. Pursue definitive solutions according to assessed needs, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Coordinate with other airline divisions as needed to accommodate effective and efficient execution of Engineering practices. Your ability to work across functional boundaries will be key to your success.
  • Documentation Management: Prepare Engineering documents to implement technical practices by providing customized methods for repairs, modifications, inspections, or other maintenance activities that provide benefits according to aircraft and departmental targets and management mandates.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Maintain knowledge of current and upcoming regulations that affect your areas of responsibility. Ensure that all Engineering activities maintain compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Use available resources to increase levels of technical expertise and practical experience on an ongoing basis. Improve communication skills, time management, and other personal attributes relevant to maximum effectiveness and efficiency in performing assigned duties.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Actively engage with front-line team members and management equally, fostering a collaborative environment where everyone's contributions are valued and respected.
