Job Title: Scheduler – Bi Lingual English / Spanish
Full-Time
Summary: Primary duties, answering phones in a professional and courteous manner without giving medical advice, scheduling appointments. Must be bi-lingual English and Spanish
- TASK:
- ANSWER TELEPHONE CALLS
- RETURN ALL VOICEMAIL AND EMAIL MESSAGES IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER USING PROPER PHONE AND EMAIL ETIQUETTE
- TAKE AND RELAY MESSAGES
- Ability to understand and keep to instructions, whether oral or written
- Assist in other areas when needed
- FAX OR EMAIL RECORDS
- PROVIDE INFORMATION TO CALLERS
- TRANSFER CALLERS TO CORRECT DESTINATION
- DEAL WITH QUERIES FROM THE CUSTOMERS
- SCHEDULE APPROPRIATE APPOINTMENTS FOR EXAMS, SURGERIES, MEDICAL PROCEDURES
- EFFECTIVELY MANAGE SCHEDULE AND DAILY APPOINTMENTS
- THOROUGHLY ENTER CLIENT AND PATIENT INFORMATION INTO COMPUTER SYSTEM
- MAINTAIN APPOINTMENT DIARY EITHER MANUALLY OR ELECTRONICALLY
- MONITOR AND MAINTAIN OFFICE EQUIPMENT
- TIDY AND MAINTAIN THE SCHEDULING AREA
- UPDATE DATABASES
- PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA, SOME COLLEGE PREFERRED
- KNOWLEDGE OF COMPUTERS AND RELEVANT SOFTWARE APPLICATION
- KNOWLEDGE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICES
- KEYBOARD SKILLS
- SOME CALL CENTER EXPERIENCE DESIRED
- KEY COMPETENCIES:
- MUST BE FRIENDLY, OUTGOING, “PEOPLE ORIENTED.”
- MUST BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CLOCKING IN/OUT

- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 40 + HOURS A WEEK MONDAY THRU FRIDAY AND SATURDAYS AS SCHEDULED 8AM TO 5PM
