About the Role
This is not a traditional field role — it is a disciplined execution system.
The Retail Execution Manager (REM) is the field presence of PrizmGPS. You are responsible for conducting structured, protocol-driven store visits across an assigned account set, capturing accurate retail intelligence, and delivering the insights that power our client reporting.
Relationships are central to this role. The quality of intelligence you gather depends on the trust you build with budtenders, floor leads, and store managers. A strong REM earns real answers — not surface-level responses — because the staff in those stores knows them and respects their presence.

Every visit you complete produces data that a cannabis brand uses to understand where their products are winning, where execution is drifting, and where action is required. The quality of your work directly determines the value our clients receive.
What You Will Do
- Conduct Structured Store Visits
- Execute scheduled visits to assigned dispensary accounts on the defined visit cadence
- Follow the PrizmGPS Structured Visit Protocol on every visit — no ad hoc approaches
- Complete visits within the required timeframe and submit all documentation within 24 hours
- Capture Retail Intelligence
- Document shelf placement, product visibility, and display execution for assigned brands
- Conduct digital menu and kiosk audits to verify SKU accuracy and brand presence
- Assess inventory presence and flag out-of-stock or low-inventory conditions
- Evaluate competitive shelf dynamics and identify where competing brands are gaining ground
- Review pricing accuracy and note any discrepancies or staff confusion
- Capture before-and-after photo documentation on every visit
- Engage Retail Staff
- Build working relationships with budtenders, floor leads, buyers, and store managers
- Assess staff familiarity and confidence with assigned brands
- Conduct brand reinforcement conversations where appropriate
- Identify staff advocacy gaps and document for the brand intelligence report
- Report and Document
- Complete the PrizmGPS™ Retail Execution Scorecard (REI™) accurately on every visit
- Escalate critical execution flags — including inventory risk, display loss, or competitive threat — within the same business day
- Maintain account notes that reflect real conditions, not assumptions
- Communicate clearly and promptly with the PrizmGPS operations team
What We Are Looking For
- Experience
- 2+ years of experience in cannabis retail, brand representation, field merchandising, or CPG retail execution
- Direct experience working inside dispensaries or retail environments strongly preferred
- Familiarity with how cannabis retail operates — floor models, menus, buying structures, and inventory flow
- Skills and Approach
- Detail-oriented and disciplined — you follow a protocol and execute it consistently
- Strong written communication — your notes and reports are clear and accurate
- Comfortable engaging staff at all levels, from budtenders to general managers
- Self-managed and reliable — you own your schedule and your commitments
- Observational — you notice what others miss and document it clearly
- Tech-comfortable — you can work efficiently in a digital form and photo documentation system
How Performance Is Measured
- PrizmGPS measures performance — not activity. REMs are evaluated on the quality and consistency of their field execution, not the number of hours logged.
- Visit completion rate — scheduled visits completed on time and in full
- Scorecard accuracy — data captured correctly and completely on every visit
- Reporting timeliness — scorecards and documentation submitted within 24 hours of each visit
- Insight quality — observations are specific, actionable, and grounded in what was actually seen
- Same-day escalation — critical execution flags identified and reported the day they occur
High performers on this team are not the ones who log the most time. They are the ones whose field intelligence is consistently reliable and whose accounts are always scored, documented, and current.

- Logistics and Structure
- Contract type: 1099 Independent Contractor
- Territories: Greater Los Angeles — REMs are assigned to one territory based on location
- Schedule: You own your schedule. Visits are coordinated in advance and you manage your own daily routing
- Commitment: Part-time or full-time — you control how many days per week you work based on your availability and territory
- Reporting: You report to the PrizmGPS Operations team
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required
- A smartphone capable of running our visit documentation platform is required

This role is designed to flex around your schedule. Whether you are looking for part-time supplemental income or a full-time commitment, you control how much you work — and your earnings reflect it.
This role rewards operators who optimize routing, consistency, and execution volume — not hours worked.

- The examples below represent estimated monthly earnings at different levels of weekly commitment. Actual earnings vary based on territory density, daily visit volume, and scheduling consistency.
- Part-time · 1–2 days/week · Estimated $700 – $1,500/month
- Part-time · 2–3 days/week · Estimated $1,500 – $2,800/month
- Full-time · 4–5 days/week · Estimated $3,400 – $7,000/month
REMs who route efficiently and execute with discipline will consistently perform toward the top of these ranges.
