About This Opportunity

In this permanent remote position, you will serve as the friendly voice and helpful resource that customers rely on when they reach out to our client's organizations. Your role goes beyond simply answering calls—it's about creating positive interactions, solving problems, and representing our clients with excellence and professionalism.

You'll handle inbound phone calls from members or customers seeking assistance, providing them with the same care and attention you would want for your own family. This is particularly important as many of our clients serve senior citizens and vulnerable populations who deserve patience, understanding, and compassionate service.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your daily responsibilities will include:


  • Handling High-Volume Inbound Calls: Professionally manage a significant volume of incoming calls while maintaining composure, energy, and positivity throughout each interaction.

  • Customer Information Management: Gather, document, and accurately record customer information using our sophisticated CRM and ticketing systems.

  • Needs Assessment & Fulfillment: Assess each customer's unique needs and provide tailored solutions or guidance. When applicable, educate customers about products, services, and features that may benefit them.

  • Multi-System Navigation: Efficiently navigate and utilize multiple software applications simultaneously while keeping the customer conversation natural and uninterrupted.

  • Issue Resolution: Resolve customer concerns through one-call resolution when possible, following established guidelines and protocols. When issues require escalation, properly document and route them to the appropriate department.

  • Performance Excellence: Meet or exceed both arenaflex and client performance metrics, including quality scores, handle time, customer satisfaction ratings, and first-call resolution rates.

  • Policy Balancing: Maintain a thoughtful balance between adhering to company policies and delivering maximum benefit to the customer in every decision you make.

  • Process Improvement: Actively evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact our clients and their customers. Share your insights with team leads and supervisors.

  • Documentation & Accountability: Take full responsibility for call disposition and compile detailed documentation as required for each customer interaction.

  • Adaptability: Embrace and adapt to changes within the business environment with enthusiasm and flexibility.

  • Attendance & Reliability: Meet all attendance requirements consistently and be the dependable team member your colleagues can count on.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must meet the following criteria:


  • Customer Service Experience: Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience is required. Experience in the healthcare industry is highly preferred, as many of our client partnerships involve medical benefits and health-related services.

  • Educational Background: A relevant degree or appropriate education may be substituted for experience on a case-by-case basis.

  • Work History: Demonstrated stability in previous employment, showing reliability and commitment.

  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to pass all skill assessments, including demonstrated experience with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

  • Communication Skills: Strong detail orientation with excellent verbal and written communication and active listening skills.

  • Customer Passion: Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers, especially senior citizens and vulnerable populations.

  • Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, evenings, possible holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.

  • Integrity & Commitment: Highly developed sense of integrity and unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.

  • Team Player: Genuine ability and willingness to collaborate with team members and support shared goals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in BPO or call center environments
