Responsibilities: Develop and implement innovative sports marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement. Identify, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships with sports leagues, teams, athletes, and relevant organizations. Manage and nurture existing partnerships to ensure mutual value and long-term success. Oversee the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels. Lead and mentor a high-performing sports marketing team. Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior to inform strategies. Develop and manage the sports marketing budget effectively. Measure and report on the ROI of marketing initiatives and partnerships. Represent the company at industry events and build strong relationships with key stakeholders. Collaborate with internal teams (brand, communications, product) to ensure consistent messaging and integrated efforts. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sports marketing, brand management, or partnership development. Demonstrated success in developing and executing impactful marketing strategies and securing significant partnerships within the sports industry. Extensive network of contacts within the sports ecosystem (leagues, teams, agents, media). Strong understanding of current sports marketing trends, digital marketing, and social media engagement. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Proven leadership and team management experience. Ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and multiple stakeholders in a remote setting. Passion for sports and a deep understanding of the fan base.
