Join Our Customer Experience Team

We're currently seeking a full-time Remote Customer Advocate Phone Specialist to join our dynamic Customer Experience team. As a Customer Advocate Phone Specialist, you'll be the frontline voice of arenaflex, handling inbound phone support for our members. Your role is critical in ensuring that every customer interaction is handled with excellence, empathy, and efficiency. You'll be responsible for addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and providing comprehensive information about our health insurance products and services.

What You'll Do

As an integral member of our Customer Experience team, your primary responsibilities will include:


  • Customer Care: Identify, research, process, resolve, and respond to customer inquiries and correspondence via telephone, written communication, and in-person interactions when necessary. You'll be the first point of contact for many members seeking guidance and support.
  • Member Advocacy: Explain a wide range of information concerning our organization's services to customers. This includes but is not limited to contract benefits, changes in coverage, eligibility requirements, claims processing, arenaflex programs, provider networks, and general health insurance guidance.
  • High Volume Phone Support: Handle a diverse and high volume of health insurance-related customer calls and correspondence daily. Our Customer Advocate Phone Specialists typically answer 40 or more calls per day, making this role ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Performance Excellence: Meet quality, quantity, and timeliness standards to achieve individual and department performance goals as defined within department guidelines. You'll be equipped with the training and tools necessary to succeed.
  • Documentation: Document and record facts regarding inquiries and correspondence by updating arenaflex files and system databases accurately and thoroughly.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate and maintain current working knowledge of the required arenaflex systems, procedures, forms, and manuals. Continuous learning is key to success in this role.
  • Additional Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team and organization.

Compensation and Rewards

  • Competitive Starting Pay: Our starting hourly rate is $18.00, with the opportunity to earn more through performance and quality-based incentives and bonuses.
  • Bilingual Premium: If you speak Spanish proficiently, you'll receive an additional $1 per hour Bilingual Premium, recognizing the value of multilingual support for our diverse member population.
  • Onboarding Bonus: We're offering a $1,000 Onboarding Bonus ($500 at 3 months and another $500 at 6 months) to welcome you to the arenaflex family.
  • Annual Bonus: Earn up to a 12% annual bonus based on corporate goals and individual performance, rewarding your contributions to our shared success.

Work Schedule

We understand the importance of work-life balance. Our Customer Advocate positions operate on the following schedule:


  • Shifts are Monday through Friday, between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM

  • You'll receive 9 or more weeks of instructor-led paid, virtual training to ensure you're fully prepared for success in your role

  • This schedule provides consistency and predictability, allowing you to plan your personal life around your work commitments

What We're Looking For

To succeed as a Customer Advocate Phone Specialist at arenaflex, you'll need:


  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of external Customer Service Experience in a professional setting.
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate skill in the use of office equipment, including copiers, fax machines, scanners, and telephones.
  • Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain accuracy in all aspects of the role.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy, handling sensitive member information with the utmost discretion.
  • Multitasking: Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and software programs efficiently and accurately.
