We are seeking enthusiastic and tech-savvy individuals to serve as Customer Support Representatives on a seasonal contract basis. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support to customers using our tax preparation software, assisting them with software navigation, locating prior returns, processing amendments, and escalations when necessary. Compensation and Earnings Potential
We believe in rewarding our contractors for their hard work and dedication. The compensation structure for this position includes:
- Base Hourly Rate: Earn up to $19 per hour, plus incentives based on performance and availability.
- Peak Season Bonuses: During the tax season (January through April), additional bonuses are available for contractors who work extended hours. For example, from April 8th through April 15th (including Tax Day), you can earn significantly more with increased hourly premiums:
- April 8th-11th: $3/hour additional for over 12 productive hours, $4/hour for over 16 hours, and $5/hour for over 20 hours
- April 12th-14th: $5/hour additional for over 20 productive hours
- April 15th (Tax Day): $10/hour additional for over 5 productive hours
- Performance-Based Earnings: Contractors who meet or exceed key performance metrics can expect to earn between $16-$19/hour during peak times and $15.60-$17.50/hour during non-peak periods.
- Guaranteed Minimum Pay: Contractors are guaranteed a minimum of 45 minutes of pay for each hour they are available and ready to work for the full 60 minutes.
Schedule Details
This seasonal contract runs from January through April 15th, providing flexibility for those seeking short-term or seasonal employment. Key schedule details include:
- Flexible Hours: You create your own schedule based on your availability and preferences.
- Operating Hours: Support is available from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM CST, seven days a week, including both weekday and weekend options.
