What You'll Do
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the first point of contact for users seeking assistance with our tax preparation products. Your daily responsibilities will encompass a wide range of support activities designed to ensure every customer has a positive and successful tax filing experience.
Primary Responsibilities
- First Point of Contact: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, chat, and email, providing prompt and professional assistance for all product-related questions and concerns.
- Product Guidance: Walk customers through the process of downloading, installing, and logging into our software platform, ensuring they can access all features smoothly.
- Navigation Assistance: Guide users through the various sections of the tax preparation software, helping them locate forms, schedules, and tools needed for accurate filing.
- Document Importation Support: Assist customers with importing financial documents, W-2s, 1099s, and other tax-related paperwork into the software platform.
- Printing and Filing Assistance: Help users understand how to print their completed tax returns, save electronic copies, and properly file their documents.
- Tax-Related Query Resolution: Answer basic tax-related questions and provide guidance on common tax situations, while knowing when to escalate complex tax law questions to specialized teams.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to software functionality, account access, and error messages.
- Customer Education: Proactively identify opportunities to educate customers on software features that can simplify their tax filing process and maximize their deductions.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center or remote support environment
- Familiarity with tax preparation software and basic tax concepts
- Experience working remotely or in a work-from-home arrangement
- Knowledge of common tax forms such as 1040, Schedule A, Schedule C, and various 1099 forms
- Multilingual capabilities (Spanish is a plus)
- Experience with CRM systems and ticketing platforms

Competitive Compensation
- Starting Hourly Rate: $18.00 per hour
- Earning Potential: Up to $2,880 USD per month based on minimum commitment and availability
- Training Bonus: $300 bonus upon successful completion of 5-day training, graduation, and fulfillment of the 10-call requirement
