Regional O&M/Field Service Manager
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximizing uptime and ensuring optimal performance across a portfolio of solar energy facilities.
- Responsibilities
- Ensure optimal asset performance to meet or exceed energy production targets
- Monitor and report on daily asset performance using asset management software
- Analyze performance data and troubleshoot operational issues
- Oversee third-party operations and maintenance (O&M) providers, ensuring execution of preventive and corrective tasks
- Recommend or implement performance improvement initiatives
- Conduct monthly site inspections and generate associated reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Track and manage O&M expenditures to remain within budget
- Prepare and issue regular internal and external performance reports
- Participate in periodic meetings with internal teams and external partners
- Interpret and enforce O&M agreements and contracts
- Manage timely renewals and renegotiations of contracts related to vegetation control and module cleaning
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including timely renewal of licenses and permits
- Collaborate with asset management to support accurate monthly production data for invoicing
- Coordinate with data acquisition system (DAS) providers for performance tracking and subscription management
- Support technical due diligence for asset acquisitions
- Provide engineering or project management assistance to the construction team as needed
- Contribute to insurance claims processes when necessary
