Position Overview: Quality Control Standards Data Analyst
We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Quality Control Standards Data Analyst to join our Quality Control Strategies and Regulations team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about data analysis, process improvement, and contributing to organizational excellence. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation by identifying statistical trends and performance metrics that enhance our quality control division.
As a key member of our team, you will leverage data to develop, present, and recommend innovative ideas and projects while performing critical analysis to mitigate compliance risks through process improvements. Key Responsibilities
The Quality Control Standards Data Analyst will be responsible for a variety of duties that contribute to the overall success of our quality control initiatives. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Data Collection and Validation: Perform and assist other Quality Control team members in timely data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Analysis and Reporting: Assist with developing and communicating results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leadership teams.
- Issue Investigation: Help investigate critical ad-hoc requests arising from emerging maintenance issues and provide analytical responses to enable senior leadership to make informed business decisions while balancing existing project responsibilities.
- Data Visualization: Present insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools supporting relevant aspects of the analysis to facilitate partner understanding and decision-making.
- Query Development: Assist with developing and distributing specific queries to pull and organize data from various sources, establishing rhythm and validating the necessity of data requirements.
- Process Auditing: Identify irregularities in processes through reviews and surveys and communicate findings to the team in a clear and actionable manner.
- Effectiveness Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of processes and procedures by monitoring for trends and discrepancies, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Compliance Focus: Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the center of every decision, maintaining our commitment to regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Additional Duties: May perform other work responsibilities as directed by team leadership.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret critical amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
