The Role: Product Solutions Engineer

In this pivotal role, you will provide outstanding customer support to advertisers and Business teams, managing challenges for arenaflex advertisers across Display, Video, Analytics, Shopping, arenaflex Advertising Platform (AAP), and Mobile/Applications. Your work will involve triaging, identifying, and resolving sensitive and complex issues across arenaflex Ads products, recognizing patterns of problems for businesses and clients, collaborating with Product Operations and Engineering to resolve product issues, and managing complex issues through to resolution to improve the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities


  • Exceptional Customer Care: Prioritize and deliver outstanding customer care, advanced troubleshooting, and resolution of complex issues and bugs from internal teams and arenaflex advertisers. You will serve as the trusted technical advisor for our most demanding clients.

  • AI-Powered Ecosystem Navigation: Understand the evolving AI-powered nature of the arenaflex Ads ecosystem and possess the ability to convey the ML model language with both internal and external clients. You will bridge the gap between complex machine learning concepts and practical advertiser applications.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional partners, including Business, Engineering, and Product teams, to build automation strategies and processes that identify and prevent product glitches and issues before they impact clients.

  • Tool Development: Model and develop tools to enable the investigation of client issues and questions, facilitating troubleshooting of standard use cases. Your innovations will help scale our support capabilities.

  • Engineering Partnership: Collaborate with Engineering teams on Infrastructure launches, updates, and migrations, ensuring seamless product rollouts and transitions.

  • Pattern Recognition: Identify patterns of issues for business and clients, working proactively to address root causes rather than just symptoms.

  • Issue Management: Manage complex issues from inception through resolution, ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders throughout the process.

  • Product Improvement: Contribute to product improvement initiatives by providing detailed feedback from customer interactions to Product and Engineering teams.

Required Qualifications


  • Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

  • Programming Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience coding with a broadly useful programming language such as Java, C/C++, Python, or similar. You should be comfortable writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

  • Web Technologies: Hands-on experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP, and Networks. Understanding of how web applications work is essential.

  • Data Analysis: Experience performing data analysis and visualization using SQL-like query languages. You should be able to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.

  • Technical Communication: Ability to interpret data to influence cross-functional partners and communicate technical issues effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to debug and troubleshoot issues systematically.

Preferred Qualifications


  • System Design Experience: Experience in system design and API development, with a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.

  • Machine Learning Fundamentals: Knowledge of machine learning essentials, including common algorithms, model training concepts, and ML applications in advertising technology.

  • Advertising Industry Experience: Prior experience working with the arenaflex promotions organization and e-commerce products is highly desirable. Familiarity with digital advertising ecosystems is a significant advantage.
  • Backend Systems Knowledge: Understanding of backend system concepts including caching, memory management, and performance optimization.

  • Mobile Platform Expertise: Experience with mobile application operating systems and mobile application data analysis products.

  • Debugging Tools Proficiency: Ability to investigate issues using debug logs and troubleshoot tagging issues on websites using developer tools such as Chrome DevTools.

  • Data Interpretation: Proven ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable insights that drive business decisions across cross-functional teams.
