What You'll Do
As a Remote Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for supporting our pharmacy operations through accurate data entry, patient enrollment, and exceptional customer service. Your primary duties will include:
- Patient Enrollment and Data Entry: Utilize arenaflex prescription data entry procedures and guidelines to process new patient registrations by entering information into our centralized systems. You will handle patient medication requests within HIPAA compliance guidelines and enter refill orders for processing. Your attention to detail will be crucial in investigating and obtaining missing prescription information and interpreting clinical abbreviations (SIG codes). You will also resolve all data entry-related exceptions to ensure seamless operations.
- Patient Communication: Handle multi-channel communications with patients, including inbound phone calls, chat messages, and emails. You will also make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed to facilitate prescription processing, clarify information, and provide excellent service. Your communication skills will be key in building trust and maintaining positive relationships with patients.
- Third-Party Resolution: Investigate, gather information, and resolve third-party billing issues by making necessary amendments and resubmitting claims for processing according to individual plan requirements. You will make phone calls to backup plans and other parties to obtain information, gain override approvals, or otherwise resolve third-party issues efficiently and professionally.
- Pharmacy Support: Provide assistance to pharmacists, both those in our offices and at other locations. You will identify issues and communicate them to senior-level staff as appropriate, ensuring seamless coordination across our pharmacy network.
- Compliance and Certification: Obtain active professional licensure or certification within the first 90 days of employment and maintain an active license or certification throughout your employment.
