Part-Time Marketing & Partner Development Coordinator
Posted 2026-05-05Title: Part-Time Marketing & Partner Development Coordinator
Company: Press Esc — Custom Wallpaper & Handmade Glazed Tile
Location: Remote (Southern Oregon-based studio)
Hours: 10-20 hours/week, flexible schedule
Compensation: $20/hr + creative perks (details below)
This isn't just a job posting. It's an invitation.
Press Esc is a design studio that creates custom wallpaper and handmade glazed tile for builders, interior designers, architects, and homeowners who refuse to settle for ordinary walls. Our work lives at the intersection of craft and intention, and every piece we produce is made to be noticed.
We're looking for someone who doesn't need a job. You need a project. Something that lights up a different part of your brain. Something where your taste, your tech instincts, and your ability to connect with people actually matter. You want to be part of building something beautiful from the early stages, and you want the flexibility to do it on your own terms.
We use AI tools every day. We move between platforms without hesitation. We expect fluency, not just familiarity, with the digital tools that make a small studio operate like a much larger one.
The Role:
Brand & Product Presentation
You'll be the person who makes our products look and sound as elevated online as they feel in person. That means crafting product listings with intentional photography, thoughtful copy, and consistent visual standards across every platform. You'll create social media content that resonates with design professionals, write email campaigns that get opened and read, and keep pressesc.co polished and current.
Partner Network Development
We're building a growing network of Design Ambassadors and Trade Partners: interior designers, stagers, architects, builders, and influencers who bring Press Esc into their projects and client relationships. You'll identify and research prospects across Instagram, Houzz, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. You'll craft personalized outreach that demonstrates you've studied their work and understand their aesthetic. You'll onboard new partners with professionalism, coordinate sample kits, track referral activity, manage commissions, and keep the network active and inspired.
Operations Support
Behind the creative work, there's infrastructure. You'll maintain CRM systems, coordinate sample shipments, manage vendor communications, track orders, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. Organization isn't a chore for you. It's satisfying.
- The Ideal Candidate:
- Exceptional visual sensibility. You instinctively understand color, composition, typography, and spatial relationships. You see what most people miss.
- Digitally fluent. You navigate between platforms, tools, and systems with ease. You don't Google "how to add a column." You're the person other people call when they can't figure it out.
- AI-forward. You already use tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Midjourney, or similar to write faster, design smarter, and automate the repetitive. You see AI as a creative accelerator and you're always experimenting with what's next.
- A natural communicator. You can write a product description that creates desire, an outreach message that earns a response, and an email that doesn't get deleted. Your tone is warm, professional, and never generic.
- Self-directed and organized. You build your own systems, manage your own time, and deliver without being managed. You prefer autonomy and you've proven you can handle it.
- Genuinely curious about design, materials, and craftsmanship. You care about the difference between something made by hand and something made by machine.
What Makes This Different:
This role was designed for someone who values purpose and creative satisfaction over a traditional paycheck. Maybe you've stepped back from a full-time career and want something intellectually engaging on your own schedule. Maybe you're a designer, a creative director, or a marketing professional who wants a side project that actually excites you. Maybe you're retired from corporate life and looking for something that uses your skills without the commute or the politics.
- Whatever your situation, here's what we offer beyond compensation:
- Quarterly product credit. Custom wallpaper and handmade glazed tile for your own home. Use what you sell. Love what you represent.
- Wallpaper Academy enrollment. Full free access to our online course. Learn the craft from the inside out.
- Portfolio rights. Every asset you create for Press Esc is yours to showcase. Build your portfolio while you build our brand.
- Fully flexible schedule. Async and remote. We measure output, not hours logged. Work when it works for you.
- Creative ownership. This isn't task execution. You'll have real input on how the brand grows, how the partner program evolves, and how we show up in the market.
- Ground-floor opportunity. Press Esc is scaling. The right person in this seat now will have first position as the brand expands.
- Especially Valuable:
- Background in interior design, architecture, home decor, or building materials
- Experience with influencer outreach, affiliate programs, or brand partnerships
- Photography editing, mockup creation, or visual asset production skills
- Proficiency with email marketing platforms, CRM tools, and e-commerce systems
- History of making a small brand punch above its weight
To Apply:
Send a brief note about why this role appeals to you and include a link to something you've created or contributed to that reflects your standards. A portfolio, a brand you helped shape, an Instagram you curate with intention, a product listing you're proud of. We're less interested in your resume and more interested in how you see the world.
