What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be the friendly face that represents our brand every single day. Your role is essential to creating the welcoming environment our customers have come to know and love. Here's what you can expect:
- Warm Greeting & Welcome: Greet every customer with a genuine smile, making them feel instantly at home. Learn and use customers' names when possible to create personalized connections.
- Order Taking & Assistance: Accurately take orders for fresh-baked bread, made-to-order sandwiches, crisp salads, and other bakery items. Provide thoughtful recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of our menu offerings, including daily bread specials, sandwich combinations, salad options, and seasonal items. Confidently answer questions and suggest pairings.
- Cash Handling & Transactions: Process payments accurately using point-of-sale systems, handle cash, credit card, and digital transactions with attention to detail.
- Food Preparation Support: Assist with light food preparation tasks, including sandwich assembly, salad preparation, and bread slicing, while maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards.
- Store Cleanliness & Maintenance: Ensure the café area, dining spaces, and service counters remain clean, organized, and inviting throughout your shift.
- Inventory & Stocking: Help maintain appropriate inventory levels of popular items, restock displays, and ensure products are properly rotated for freshness.

What We're Looking For: Qualifications & Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and team members
