BAE Systems is hiring an Operations Finance Manager leading factory moves and footprint optimization.  This role reports directly to the Director of Operations Finance and is responsible for leading all financial aspects of factory moves and footprint optimization.  This role is responsible for establishing controls and management of internal investments supporting factory transitions, establishing objective measurements and briefing key stakeholders of program status. 

This role will provide leadership to their direct team while also working collaboratively with their functional and business area finance counterparts to ensure successful execution of key factory transition milestones. 
In addition, this role will support various other financial analysis across the operations finance function.  Examples include, but are not limited to support Supply Chain analysis, unit product cost initiatives and key factory Hub analysis.  This role will continue to evolve over time in order to best support the changing needs of the business. 

Responsibilities:

  • Finance Factory Transition Lead: Responsible for cost controls, earned value and reporting of factory moves and footprint optimization projects that are led by the operations organization.

  • Collaboration and Functional Counterparts: Coordinate with internal stakeholders (BA’s and FCM) and subject matter experts to build and sustain best practices and operational excellence in support of the operations function.

  • Metrics, Reporting, and Communication: Establish and maintain standard metrics (reporting, and communication to support internal investment Program Performance Reviews (PPR), ensuring timely and accurate information.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and direct a team of Finance professionals, inspiring a high-performing team that embodies BAE Systems' behaviors and cultural principles.
