Position Overview
The Manager of Operations Process – Customer Experience will be responsible for managing store operations processes for specific areas of responsibility while leading projects focused on continuous improvement. This role requires a strategic thinker who can analyze complex operational challenges, develop innovative solutions, and implement changes that drive measurable value across our retail network.
Working remotely, you'll serve as a critical bridge between our operations strategy team and field operations, ensuring that process improvements are effectively translated into actionable results at the store level. Key Responsibilities
As an Operations Process Manager at arenaflex, you'll be entrusted with a diverse range of responsibilities that blend analytical rigor with hands-on leadership:
- Problem Analysis & Resolution: Analyze the fundamental components of complex operational problems and communicate effective courses of action to your team and field personnel. You'll be the go-to expert for resolving intricate challenges that arise in day-to-day store operations.
- Process Improvement Initiatives: Develop and implement strategic changes that improve overall store operations processes. Your initiatives will be designed to add measurable value to store performance metrics and the bottom line.
- Project Management: Lead core store operations projects and process improvement initiatives from conception through completion. Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive project work plans that align with organizational objectives.
- Day-to-Day Process Management: Oversee and manage daily processes related to your designated areas of responsibility, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and adherence to established standards.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively identify, address, and resolve issues and roadblocks that arise within your area of responsibility. You'll anticipate challenges and implement preventive measures to minimize operational disruptions.
- Strategic Response: Respond proactively to unanticipated store needs arising from various inputs—including customer feedback, market trends, and emerging business requirements. Manage action steps necessary for successful execution of both strategic projects/initiatives and process improvements.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Communicate effectively and build strong, effective partnerships with field teams, store leadership, and cross-functional departments throughout arenaflex. Foster collaborative relationships that drive shared success.
- Insights & Recommendations: Prepare and deliver high-level insights and recommendations based on comprehensive analyses of industry trends, business performance, competitive landscape, and consumer data for your area of expertise.
- Team Leadership & Development: Provide guidance, training, and mentorship specific to your area of expertise. Assist in collaborating findings from data analysis and making compelling verbal and written recommendations to senior leadership.
- Knowledge Management: Maintain and continuously expand your knowledge base regarding specific operations and processes within store operations. Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends.
- Team Management: Oversee a team of 2-5 Business Analysts, including responsibilities for appropriate selection, termination decisions, performance appraisal, and professional development. Mentor your team to achieve their full potential while driving organizational success.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be eighteen years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
- The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
- Strong operations, retail, and/or field experience required
Preferred Qualifications
- PMI (Project Management Institute) certification preferred
- 3 years of retail experience or process management in related area
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience
- Advanced education or certifications in relevant fields

Travel Requirements
