About the Role: Lead Data Science Consultant

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Customer Excellence Data and Analytics (CEDA) organization as a Lead Data Science Consultant.

In this pivotal role, you will own the full analytics development cycle—from data mining and analysis to building sophisticated predictive models using Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning techniques. You will be responsible for identifying performance opportunities, delivering meaningful insights, and creating comprehensive documentation of validation methods and results. Your work will directly influence strategic decisions that impact millions of customers and shape the future of our analytics capabilities.

What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Data Science Consultant at arenaflex, you will play a transformative role in our analytics ecosystem. Here's what you can expect:


  • Lead Complex Analytical Initiatives: Design and execute data-driven, advanced analytical projects utilizing statistical techniques, algorithms, and sophisticated models to uncover actionable insights, trends, and recommendations that have cross-functional impact across the organization.
  • Drive Business Solutions: Build support for and deliver recommendations in complex, multi-faceted situations that require deep expertise in analytical thinking and a strong technical skillset to resolve intricate business challenges.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner and consult with peers, colleagues, and leadership across departments to drive recommendations and strategies based on data-driven analytical insights. You may lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor to others in the organization.
  • Innovative Model Development: Execute complex analytical experiments and create innovative statistical models to discover solutions for abstract business problems across various domains, pushing the boundaries of what's possible with data.
  • Data Interpretation & Analysis: Interpret and analyze complex datasets using advanced analytics modeling methods and programming to recommend ways to solve problems and influence business decisions and strategies.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Provide consultation to peers on data science best practices, methods, and tools to leverage, helping to elevate the analytical capabilities across the organization.
  • Communication of Insights: Translate complex analytical findings into digestible, actionable insights and recommendations using data in formats suitable for non-technical audiences of varying levels throughout the organization.

What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:


  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of data science experience, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Education: Master's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, or computer science.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will give you a significant advantage:


  • Programming Expertise: Fluency in SAS, Python, and SQL (Teradata) with the ability to write efficient, production-ready code.
