    Job Description:
  • Work remotely from home in Arkansas
  • Virtually support students and parents/learning coaches with academic, social/emotional, and early career development
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for student concerns across subject areas and non-academic needs
  • Collaborate with the Manager of Counseling Services to implement a comprehensive K–8 counseling program aligned with the ASCA National Model
  • Deliver school counseling core curriculum through virtual lessons
  • Provide individual and small group counseling based on student needs
  • Support academic planning, goal setting, and Student Success Plans using academic, behavioral, and social-emotional data
  • Facilitate course selection and recommend students for accelerated and high school credit-bearing opportunities
  • Monitor student progress and engagement; provide interventions and address barriers to learning
  • Support onboarding, transitions, and review of academic records for new and returning students
  • Develop and implement academic and behavior support plans in collaboration with staff and families
  • Support at-risk or crisis situations and follow safety reporting procedures
  • Collaborate with staff and connect families to school and community resources
  • Maintain communication through virtual office hours, workshops, and family outreach
  • Support student engagement through career readiness activities, events, and enrichment opportunities
  • Maintain accurate student records, including enrollment, withdrawal, and transcript audits/credit checks
  • Conduct compliance checks, support course/grade changes, dual enrollment processes, and required indicators
  • Maintain counseling resources and participate in program planning, data review, and professional development
  • Other duties as assigned.
    Requirements:
  • Must reside within the state of Arkansas or live within 300 miles of Bentonville, AR
  • Arkansas certification in School Counseling (K–8 or appropriate grade band)
  • Strong technology skills (Microsoft Office and virtual platforms)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible, student-centered approach
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (may require overnight travel)
  • Ability to use a personal device and email for two-step authentication
