Position Overview

As a Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning and deep learning models that predict, analyze, and optimize our IT infrastructure operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams of skilled professionals to build scalable AI solutions that identify issues before they impact business operations, recommend actionable solutions, and enhance the overall efficiency of our technology landscape.

This role involves collaborating on innovative and complex projects using a coordinated approach, where you will apply your expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization to extract meaningful insights from vast amounts of infrastructure data. You will be tasked with developing models that forecast potential hardware and software failures, pinpoint errors in real-time, and provide recommendations that prevent downtime and ensure system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Solution Development: Design, build, and scale AI and machine learning solutions that identify, predict, and recommend solutions to IT issues before they affect business operations.


• Model Development: Develop predictive models using machine learning, deep learning, and other advanced technologies to analyze data related to hardware and software systems within large server infrastructures.


• Statistical Analysis: Apply statistical modeling and data-driven analytical techniques to extract insights from complex datasets and support operational decision-making.


• System Integration: Support processes related to the implementation of systems into production, including the integration of purchased solutions and custom-built applications.


• Development Lifecycle: Take ownership of design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of machine learning models and data pipelines.


• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members using coordinated approaches to address complex technical challenges and deliver innovative solutions.


• Knowledge Sharing: Mentor colleagues, share knowledge, and contribute to the team's collective success through effective communication and collaboration.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field; or equivalent work experience.

Experience & Expertise

• 2+ years of experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning with domain knowledge and expertise in the following areas:

• 2+ years of experience in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or similar.

• Experience optimizing existing data pipelines by exploring unstructured data sources and engineering new features.


• Ability to provide technical support and expertise to broader team members and cross-functional stakeholders.


• Graduate degree or greater in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or another quantitative field; or comparable working experience.


• Knowledge of artificial intelligence, data mining, statistics, applied science, or a related field.
