About This Opportunity

This is a full-time, salaried position with comprehensive benefits. As an Entry-Level Network Administrator at arenaflex, you will work from the comfort of your home office while receiving world-class training in essential IT infrastructure skills. Key Responsibilities

As an Entry-Level Network Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting arenaflex's robust IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Network Monitoring: Monitor Wide Area Network (WAN) links for stability and performance, ensuring seamless connectivity across our global infrastructure.

  • Infrastructure Management: Monitor routers, switches, and other network appliances to maintain optimal performance and quickly identify potential issues.

  • IP Address Management: Provision IP addresses and manage Local Area Networks (LAN) and Virtual Local Area Networks (VLAN) as required.

  • Alert and Log Monitoring: Review system alerts and logs to identify anomalies, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive measures.

  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular health checks on network infrastructure to prevent downtime and ensure system reliability.

  • Incident Management: Respond to and resolve network incidents in a timely manner, following established ITSM (IT Service Management) processes and procedures.

  • Reporting: Generate detailed reports on network performance, incidents, and maintenance activities for management review.

  • Security Administration: Administer security policies and Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems to protect organizational assets.

  • Middleware Support: Monitor middleware systems, logs, and alerts to ensure application availability and performance.

  • Load Balancer Management: Configure and maintain load balancers to distribute network traffic efficiently across servers.

  • Firewall and ACL Management: Manage firewall rules and Access Control Lists (ACL) to maintain network security.

  • Network Diagnostics: Utilize network diagnostic commands and monitoring systems to identify and resolve connectivity issues.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:


  • Education: High school diploma or GED required. An Associate's degree is a plus but not required.

  • Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States. This position is open to U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders only. No sponsorship is available at this time.

  • Location: Must be able to relocate to or reside in the Hillsboro, OR area. Relocation reimbursement is provided for qualifying candidates.
