What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities
As an Emergency Response Call Center Representative at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to protect lives and property. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Processing Emergency Alarm Signals: Receive, analyze, and process incoming alarm signals from residential and commercial security systems using our advanced monitoring technology. Your attention to detail and ability to act quickly will be essential in identifying genuine emergencies.
- Alarm Verification: Contact customers to verify the validity of alarm activations, following established protocols to determine whether emergency response is required. This requires excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Emergency Dispatch Coordination: When necessary, promptly dispatch the appropriate emergency services—including police, fire departments, and medical personnel—to the customer's location. You will serve as the critical link between the customer and first responders.
- Customer Communication: Provide exceptional customer service by professionally handling inquiries, updating customer information, and offering guidance on system operations and safety best practices.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all alarm events, dispatch activities, and customer interactions using our computerized monitoring systems.
- Compliance Adherence: Follow all company protocols, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices to ensure the highest standards of emergency response.
What We Are Looking For: Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Location: You must reside within 45 minutes of Manasquan, New Jersey, as our initial training program is conducted on-site. After successful completion of training, remote work opportunities may be available for qualified candidates.
- Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in customer service, call center, or similar fast-paced service environment is strongly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic computer literacy and the ability to navigate multiple software applications simultaneously.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. We operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and our team members are essential personnel.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional during high-stress situations.
- Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security monitoring, emergency dispatch, or law enforcement communications.
- Bilingual language skills (Spanish/English highly desirable).
- Experience with alarm monitoring software or similar dispatch technology.
- Understanding of security systems, fire alarms, or medical alert systems.
- Previous experience in a high-volume call center environment.
Shift Availability and Scheduling
At arenaflex, we understand that work-life balance is essential. We offer multiple shift options to accommodate various scheduling needs:
- Second Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Third Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
We also offer flexible scheduling options, including 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts. All positions require weekend, holiday, and overtime availability. Please note that this is a full-time position only and is not suitable as a secondary job, as our team members are considered essential personnel.

Beginning January 2nd, 2024, arenaflex will provide comprehensive paid training at our Manasquan, New Jersey facility. Our training program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this critical role. Training topics include:
