International Commercial Contracts Counsels – S. Korea (Remote/Fractional Engagement)
Latitude is seeking an experienced attorney to support the commercial business. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled in-house attorneys fluent in Korean to provide fractional, remote legal counsel on both project-based and day-to-day commercial matters.

    Basic Requirements for the International Commercial Contracts Counsels – S. Korea:
  • 3+ years of experience practicing commercial contracts law, ideally including in-house counsel experience with international businesses.
  • Fluency (professional legal proficiency) in Korean.
  • Strong familiarity with Korean business practices and negotiation customs.
  • Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts with cross-border clients.
  • Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Excellent analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Licensed to practice law in the U.S.
  • Outstanding professional references.
    Position Details of the International Commercial Contracts Counsels – S. Korea:
  • Type of role: Contract In-House Engagement (Fractional / Project-Based)
  • Schedule: Flexible, typically fractional support over 6–12 months, with opportunity for extension.
  • Location: Fully Remote (WFH) – must be available for collaboration across U.S. and APAC time zones.
  • Focus
  • Support commercial teams with day-to-day contract review, drafting, and negotiation in local language.
  • Provide guidance on local negotiation customs and business practices to facilitate successful transactions.
  • Support business-related integrations during regional expansion.
  • Serve as embedded regional in-house support alongside existing legal team and outside counsel.

Compensation
Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $210,000 to $320,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference.
Benefits: Latitude contract professionals are usually W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week. Benefits-eligible Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
