Position Overview


We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Integrated Data Analyst to join our Flight Operations Training team on a part-time basis. This is a hybrid position based out of our Corporate Campus in Dallas, TX, offering the perfect blend of collaborative in-office work and flexible remote arrangements. This role is ideal for analytical professionals who are eager to make a meaningful impact on aviation safety and training excellence.

As an Integrated Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will serve as a subject matter expert for all activities related to our Integrated Data Collection and Analysis Tool (IDCAT). You will play a critical role in supporting the Advanced Qualification Program (AQP) and analyzing data collected from our Flight Safety Programs. Your insights will directly influence the effectiveness of our Flight Ops Training initiatives, helping us maintain the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities


The Integrated Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing complex datasets to provide actionable insights to the Data Integration Group (DIG) and other stakeholders. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Below is a comprehensive breakdown of the responsibilities associated with this role:


  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Ensure the timely and accurate submission of monthly FAA reports while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and accuracy.

  • IDCAT Software Administration: Administer all components of the Integrated Data Collection and Analysis Tool (IDCAT), including customer support and feedback monitoring for Flight Instructors and Evaluators during observation data entry.

  • Technical Support: Support all IDCAT software-related administrative responsibilities, including account management, new command assistance, and system troubleshooting.

  • Dashboard Development: Download Tableau data to the arenaflex server and populate current dashboards. Analyze, create, and visualize data in Tableau workbooks and dashboards to drive informed decision-making.

  • Data Categorization: Categorize and organize Instructor and Evaluator measured devices and feedback for comprehensive assessment and performance tracking.

  • Form Development: Support IDCAT observation form formats and generate or create data collection paperwork within the software system.

  • Training Analysis: Perform regular training data analyses as defined in AC 120-54a and identify gaps of effectiveness in current Flight Ops Training programs. Represent Flight Ops Safety in key decision discussions.

  • Quarterly Assessments: Assist in and provide assessment assistance for the quarterly data examination of the Data Integration Agency (DIG) and Advanced Qualification Program (AQP).

  • Data Requests: Execute and deliver data requests as needed to assist the Flight Ops Training (AQP) staff and other departments across the organization.

  • Inter-Rater Reliability: Execute IDCAT Inter-Rater Reliability data assessment and facilitate IDCAT educational content development.

  • Continuous Improvement: May perform other job-related responsibilities as directed by leadership, contributing to the ongoing success of the team and organization.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following educational and experiential requirements:


  • Education: High School Diploma or GED is required, along with a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.

  • Experience: Intermediate level experience with demonstrated excellence in data assessment and visualization, as well as project management.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with Tableau data visualization tools is essential.

  • Analytical Skills: Proven ability to assess complex datasets and extract meaningful insights.

Preferred Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
