  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Operate the front desk, handling check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments
  • Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate records
  • Sell tickets to shows and events, and provide information on hotel services, local attractions, and activities
  • Assist guests with luggage, transportation, and other needs, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable
  • Resolve minor conflicts and escalate more serious issues to supervisors for resolution
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about hotel services, local businesses, and attractions
  • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless operations
  • Operate various office machines and equipment, including a cash drawer, to receive payments and provide change and receipts
  • Post charges and payments, and maintain accurate records
  • Responsible for the accountability and safekeeping of a revolving change fund during assigned shifts
  • Cash travelers and personal checks, and secure credit card authorizations
  • Provide communication assistance in medical and fire emergencies
  • *Essential Qualifications:**
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Progressively responsible work experience in the hospitality industry, demonstrating the ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to exercise tact and diplomacy when interacting with people
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and grammatically correctly
  • Possess good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • Must be able to obtain a Tier 1 background investigation
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**
  • Knowledge and/or experience of the OPERA system
  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
