This is a temporary remote position with the potential for extension or permanent opportunities based on performance. The assignment runs from October 21, 2024, through January 31, 2025, giving you the chance to be part of a dynamic team during a high-growth period for our organization. We are currently seeking candidates located in Illinois, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Florida, or Georgia to fill these essential roles.
Position Overview
As an outbound Healthcare Scheduler at arenaflex, you will serve as the first point of contact for health plan members, helping them understand and access the free in-home health assessment benefits offered by their healthcare providers. This is a call center position where approximately 90% of your time will be spent on the phone, making outbound calls to reach members and schedule appointments.
You will be responsible for managing a high volume of calls daily, typically between 150-250 outbound contacts per day. This includes both manual dialing using spreadsheets and using our automated dialer system to maximize efficiency. Your goal will be to encourage members to accept the complimentary health assessment visit and help them understand the value of this free benefit provided by their health plan.
Key Responsibilities
- High-Volume Outbound Calling: Make 150-250 outbound calls daily to health plan members using both manual dialing and auto-dialer systems
- Appointment Scheduling: Successfully schedule in-home health assessments for members, ensuring accurate documentation of appointment details
- Script Adherence: Read, understand, and effectively follow call scripts and guidelines to maintain consistency and compliance
- Member Engagement: Encourage members to accept the free health assessment benefit by clearly communicating the value and convenience of in-home visits
- Multitasking: Navigate multiple insurance portals simultaneously to verify member eligibility and update records in real-time
- Technology Proficiency: Utilize Google Chrome, Google Maps, Microsoft Outlook, and Webex for communication and documentation purposes
- Email Management: Respond to member emails and internal correction requests in a timely and professional manner
- Goal Achievement: Meet and exceed daily scheduling targets, starting at 1-2 visits per hour with a goal of reaching 2 visits per hour
- Quality Assurance: Maintain a Quality Assurance score of 95% or higher on all interactions
- Attendance & Reliability: Maintain perfect attendance during the first 90 days of employment
- Not Ready Time: Keep non-productive time to 1.5 hours or less per shift
- Call Volume Management: Handle 100-200 outbound calls when manually dialing to meet daily objectives
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role at arenaflex, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Location: Must be currently residing in Illinois, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Florida, or Georgia
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Customer Service Experience: Strong background in customer service, preferably in a call center or healthcare setting
- Call Center Experience: Proven track record of handling high-volume calls in a fast-paced environment
- Scheduling Experience: Previous experience in appointment scheduling or similar roles
- Sales Experience: Ability to effectively promote and sell the value of services to hesitant customers
- Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Remote Work Capability: Must have a reliable home office setup with appropriate internet connectivity
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual: Spanish/English bilingual proficiency is highly preferred but not required
- Healthcare Knowledge: Familiarity with health insurance terminology and benefits
- CRM Experience: Previous experience with customer relationship management systems
