About the Role

As a Data Entry Associate at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for managing critical inventory data and ensuring our systems reflect accurate stock levels. Your primary focus will be entering Purchase Orders into our Point of Sale (POS) system, which is currently LightSpeed, and maintaining inventory accuracy on our Shopify e-commerce platform. This position requires someone who can work independently, pay close attention to every detail, and handle the demands of a fast-paced retail environment.

The ideal candidate will be someone who takes pride in their accuracy, enjoys working with technology and data, and understands the importance of maintaining clean, organized records. You'll be working closely with our purchasing team and store management to ensure that all inventory data is properly entered, tracked, and updated in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

As an integral part of the arenaflex operations team, you will be expected to:

• Enter Purchase Orders: Accurately input all purchase orders into the LightSpeed POS system as they are written and confirmed by the purchasing team. Ensure all data fields are complete and correctly formatted.


• Shopify Inventory Management: Edit and update inventory levels on our Shopify website to reflect current stock. Ensure that online product availability accurately represents what is available in our brick-and-mortar store and warehouse.


• Inventory Coordination: Manage inventory for both our single brick-and-mortar location and our online store. Monitor stock levels and alert appropriate team members when inventory requires attention.


• Data Accuracy: Maintain meticulous attention to detail when entering and reviewing data. Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity across all platforms.


• System Updates: Keep all inventory-related information current and accurate in both LightSpeed and Shopify systems. This includes product descriptions, pricing, variants, and stock quantities.


• Collaboration: Work closely with the buyer and store management to confirm order details and resolve any discrepancies in inventory data.


• Reporting: Assist in generating inventory reports as needed to support business decisions and operational planning.


• Problem Resolution: Identify and address data entry errors promptly. Implement preventive measures to minimize future discrepancies.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role at arenaflex, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Shopify Experience: Must have hands-on experience working with the Shopify platform, particularly in managing product listings and inventory.


• Industry Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, demonstrating familiarity with data entry and inventory management responsibilities.


• E-Commerce Background: Minimum of 2 years experience in e-commerce operations, with a solid understanding of online retail workflows.


• Technical Proficiency: Solid knowledge of data analysis and inventory management principles. Comfortable working with multiple software systems simultaneously.


• Attention to Detail: An analytical mind with strong attention to detail, capable of identifying discrepancies and ensuring accuracy in all data entry tasks.


• Physical Capability: Ability to sit for extended hours while performing data entry tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
