Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized instruction in ACT/SAT mathematics and science subjects, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science


• Assess students' current skill levels and develop customized learning plans to address knowledge gaps


• Teach test-taking strategies specific to the ACT and SAT, including time management, question analysis, and answer elimination techniques


• Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment that builds student confidence


• Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback


• Stay current with changes to ACT/SAT test formats, question types, and scoring guidelines


• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and center administrators regarding progress and goals

Qualifications and Requirements

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution (required)

• Availability to work between Monday through Thursday, 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and/or Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM

• Prior tutoring or teaching experience with high school students
