The Role: Technology Brand & Employee Experience Strategist

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Technology Brand & Employee Experience Strategist to lead our efforts in building and sustaining a world-class technology employer brand. This position offers flexible remote work arrangements with both part-time and full-time opportunities available, allowing you to contribute meaningfully to our organizational goals while maintaining work-life balance.

In this pivotal role, you will serve as the driving force behind our technology brand strategy, working collaboratively with cross-functional partners including HR Communications, Technology Leadership, and executive stakeholders. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and executing initiatives that position arenaflex as an employer of choice for technology professionals across all experience levels.

What You'll Do

As a key contributor to our talent strategy team, you will have the opportunity to shape how arenaflex is perceived by current and prospective employees in the technology space. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Developing Comprehensive Technology Brand Strategies: Create and implement innovative employer branding strategies that leverage powerful channels and targeted content specifically designed to engage technology professionals and contribute to a vibrant workplace culture across all technology initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Communications teams to ensure seamless connectivity and consistency within technology-focused communications plans, while coordinating all collaborative efforts that support the activation and advancement of our technology employer brand.
  • Culture Transformation Leadership: Work alongside senior leadership, including Vice Presidents of Strategy and Transformation, to guide technology culture through data-driven human applications and strategies that enable exceptional employee experiences built upon inclusion, recognition, and empowerment.
  • Brand Consistency Across Initiatives: Ensure consistent implementation of our technology brand for events throughout the organization, including hackathons, brown bag sessions, lunch-and-learn programs, technology conferences, and other engagement opportunities.
  • Engagement Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing engagement team composed of voluntary team members across the organization, overseeing programs and activities that uniquely engage technology personnel of all levels while building community across teams and departments.
  • Strategic Program Assessment: Evaluate and recommend tools and activities that will uniquely engage technology professionals, considering the diverse needs of our workforce and building strong professional communities that foster collaboration and innovation.
  • HR Partnership and Survey Management: Collaborate with Human Resources to drive employee survey initiatives, movement planning, and implementation of programs aligned with technology team values and business objectives while managing internal partnerships effectively.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage people-centric data and insights from the organization to inform engagement team strategy, ultimately encouraging a culture of empowerment, innovation, belonging, and pride throughout arenaflex.

Essential Qualifications:


  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of experience in modern communications, employer brand strategy, and employee engagement; OR High School diploma/GED with at least 3 years of progressive experience in communications, brand strategy, or lifestyle and engagement roles.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 4 years managing progressive communications, employer brand, and employee engagement initiatives with demonstrated impact.
  • Leadership Capabilities: At least 4 years of experience leading and managing the work of teams, including demonstrated success in leading through influence or through a Center of Excellence model.
  • Strategic Project Management: Experience developing and implementing strategic projects and programs aligned with business objectives and organizational goals.
  • Team Influence Skills: Proven ability to provide structure and direction to inspire, guide, and motivate teams toward achieving engagement goals.
  • Program Execution: Strong program management experience with the ability to effectively plan and schedule large-scale programs, activities, and initiatives at the organizational level to meet both short-term and long-range objectives.
  • Relationship Building: Demonstrated success in building effective work relationships, establishing credibility, and increasing trust to drive impact across all levels of the organization.
  • Change Management: Experience with effective change management and the ability to influence behavior throughout periods of transformation and transition.
  • Communication Excellence: Outstanding oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey business requirements and technical needs in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
  • Professional Judgment: Experience exercising professional judgment and taking responsibility for decisions that impact people, service quality, and organizational expenses.
  • Financial Acumen: At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions within the workplace.
  • Direct Leadership: Minimum of 3 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team leadership experience.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to at least 10% of the time for business functions, including both domestic and international travel.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in employer brand communications and employee engagement

  • Minimum of 5 years leading and managing team members, including demonstrated success in leading through influence

  • Experience in technology sector employer branding is highly desirable

  • Knowledge of modern employer branding tools and platforms

  • Background in creating engaging content for technology-focused audiences
