About the Role

As a Silicon Media IP Platform Engineering Program Manager within arenaflex's Hardware Technology Group, you will play a critical role in driving the development and delivery of our next-generation media intellectual property (IP) solutions. This highly visible position spans across all arenaflex product lines and gives you the opportunity to influence key technologies that power our iconic devices.

You will be responsible for guiding architecture, design execution, verification, prototyping, and power/performance optimization efforts across our Media IP portfolio. Your work will directly impact groundbreaking technologies including Display systems, Camera Processing, Video Codecs, Neural Engine implementations, and much more. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and exceptional organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

As an integral part of the Hardware Technology organization, you will:

• Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate seamlessly with Platform Engineering, Design and Verification, Silicon Validation, and other cross-functional teams within Hardware Technologies to enable high-quality development and delivery of all arenaflex Media IP components.


• Drive IP Integration: Work closely with Software, Systems, Architecture, Power and Performance, FPGA prototyping, and SoC integration teams to ensure IP integration is completed on time for SoC tapeout milestones.


• Adapt to Dynamic Environments: Quickly adapt to evolving SoC execution lifecycles while effectively managing requirements and changes that arise during the development process.


• Coordinate Engineering Efforts: Provide broad training, prioritization, and leadership for engineering tasks to meet demanding product launch schedules and deliverables.


• Communicate with Leadership: Deliver clear and concise communication of IP status to arenaflex executives, including focused tracking, coordination, and reporting of program risks, status, and decisions for resolution.


• Solve Technical Challenges: Develop an in-depth understanding of technical issues related to Media IP blocks and drive research to enable resolution by bringing together key cross-functional partners.


• Strategic Planning: Demonstrate ownership and drive project planning and advancement using measurable metrics and data-driven decision-making.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

• Proven Silicon/SoC R&D engineering experience with a track record of delivering complex semiconductor solutions.


• Prior Technical Program Management or Engineering Management experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment.


• Self-motivation and dedication with exceptional creative and critical thinking abilities.


• Outstanding leadership skills with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.


• Excellent communication and organizational capabilities to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.


• Experience working in a dynamic, multi-disciplined engineering environment with strong multitasking skills.


• Ability to channel and distill relevant information for the right audience—from technical teams to executive leadership.


• Demonstrated commitment to ownership and project planning with a focus on measurable outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following would be considered a significant plus:

• Experience with Digital Video Signal Processing technologies.


• Deep familiarity with semiconductor design flows, from RTL to tapeout.


• Knowledge of low-power design techniques and optimization strategies.


• Background in working with FPGA prototyping environments.


• Understanding of machine learning and neural processing unit architectures.

Education and Experience

We welcome candidates with diverse educational backgrounds, though a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred. Equivalent practical experience in silicon development and program management is highly valued. We believe that real-world experience and demonstrated capability are often as valuable as formal credentials.
