- *Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Senior Director, Global Head, Adversarial Abuse/Analytics to lead our Trust and Wellbeing team in the fight against adversarial abuse. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to prevent and mitigate adversarial abuse, including account takeovers, spam, and commitment misuse. You'll work closely with our Product Management and Design teams to build data-driven solutions and tools to stay ahead of emerging threats. - *Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the Adversarial Abuse team in identifying and eliminating threats from account takeovers, spam, commitment misuse, and other forms of adversarial abuse
- Develop and implement strategies to prevent and mitigate adversarial abuse, including account takeovers, spam, and commitment misuse
- Collaborate with the Business Analysis team to produce insights, estimate uncaught badnesses, and distribute Transparency Reports for countries around the world
- Understand, anticipate, and intelligently moderate risks from new, scaling industry patterns (e.g., generative AI)
- Work with the Strategy Development team to create policies using account, social, and content signals to describe harmful behavior
- Deliver high-quality and productive operational execution (e.g., quality, service levels) in a global team working 24x7
- Attract, retain, develop, and foster exceptional talent
- Manage accelerations with quick turnaround times required to circle back, provide data and content-driven insights, and implement solutions while building relationships with key cross-functional partners to launch new products and policies that effectively prevent adversarial abuse
- *Essential Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics)
- 4-year certification or equivalent experience
- 2 years of experience working with risk management, fraud fighting at scale, and building/conveying data-driven insights
- 2 years of experience working with design teams that build data infrastructure and ML models
- 2 years of experience driving teams with the ability to work non-standard workweeks as accelerations require
- Strong background in data analysis, risk management, and team leadership
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- Postgraduate education in a related field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics)
- 2 years of experience with investigation of large datasets and anomaly detection
- Experience or demonstrated interest in adversarial abuse activities
- Knowledge of SQL/R/Matlab
- Exceptional influencing and leadership skills and the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners
- Strong business judgment, critical, and analytical skills, including using data to drive strategy and business action with the ability to work in a rapidly changing industry and manage ambiguity while minimizing uncertainty through quantitative insights
