About the Role

As a Workflow Systems Analyst at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing essential workflow tooling at scale. You'll be part of a team that's committed to enabling teams to produce high-quality software through world-class engineering experiences, efficient workflows, data-driven insights, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Your primary focus will be delivering valuable data and insights while engaging with partners across the organization to provide education and support for workflow initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Dashboard Development: Create and maintain visual representations of key metrics and progress toward organizational goals using advanced visualization tools


• Analytics & Insights: Serve as the insight and visualization expert for a mature team of Data Scientists and Engineers, translating complex data into understandable and actionable information


• Iterative Dashboard Design: Present findings to teams, collect feedback, and continuously improve end products based on stakeholder input


• Process Characterization: Profile complex systems, document current workflow states, and identify target areas for improvement


• Pattern Recognition: Identify patterns and trends in large data sets that can inform strategic decision-making


• Change Leadership: Work directly with partners to drive action — translate insights into tangible wins and measurable outcomes


• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with teams across the organization to provide education and support in workflow initiatives


• Research & Development: Conduct research to develop key metrics, recommend policy changes, and deliver action plans to all levels of leadership

Essential Qualifications

• Professional Experience: Minimum 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role


• Analytics Expertise: Solid working knowledge of analytics methodologies including visualization, statistics, and the Analytics Maturity Curve (Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive, Prescriptive)


• Research to Insight: Ability to transform research into actionable insights, develop key metrics, recommend policy changes, and deliver action plans to all levels of leadership


• Tableau Proficiency: Advanced Tableau developer skills with experience creating complex, interactive dashboards


• SQL Expertise: Capable SQL user with experience in aggregation, nested queries, and data inspection/validation


• Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Software Development Analytics: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DORA metrics, and LEAN software delivery methodologies


• Software Development Background: Experience understanding build pipelines, merging processes, testing systems and methodologies, and code delivery workflows


• Product Ownership: Experience being fully accountable for key project outcomes, driving efforts, and generating concrete results through analytics


• Project Management: Ability to plan and drive efforts across partner teams toward unified goals


• Technical Writing: Strong documentation skills for characterizing complex systems and processes


• Communication Skills: Excellent presentation abilities with experience presenting to diverse audiences and collecting actionable feedback
