Position Overview

We are currently calling Customer Service Representatives to work remotely within our footprint states: Washington, Oregon, Montana, New Mexico, and/or Texas. This position has multiple openings for both full-time and part-time positions, offering flexibility to fit your lifestyle and career goals.

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients have a positive customer experience while resolving their accounts in a timely and efficient manner. You'll be the friendly, knowledgeable voice that patients turn to when they have questions about their healthcare accounts, billing, or insurance matters. Key Responsibilities

As an integral member of our Revenue Cycle Business Services team, you will be responsible for:


  • Delivering Exceptional Patient Experience: Ensure every patient interaction is positive, professional, and compassionate. Listen actively to patient concerns, provide clear and accurate information, and resolve issues with empathy and efficiency.
  • Timely Account Resolution: Address patient accounts promptly and accurately, working to resolve billing inquiries, payment questions, and account discrepancies. Meet or exceed performance standards for response time and resolution accuracy.
  • Schedule Adherence: Closely adhere to set schedules and handle time standards to ensure consistent availability for our patients. Be reliable and dependable in your attendance and punctuality.
  • Privacy and Confidentiality: Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality of all health information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and arenaflex policies. Treat sensitive information with the utmost care and professionalism.
  • Compassionate Customer Interactions: Treat all customers with compassion, respect, and dignity. Understand that patients may be dealing with stressful health situations and provide support with patience and empathy.
  • Documentation and Accuracy: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions in our systems. Ensure proper documentation supports efficient follow-up and resolution.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure seamless patient care. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge. Embrace feedback as a tool for growth and improvement.

Work Schedule

This position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule, with core hours from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. Please note that the schedule may change depending on training and business requirements. We are committed to providing reasonable notice of any schedule changes and strive to maintain a predictable and manageable work-life balance for all our team members.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:


  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in customer service required

  • Ability to work remotely within our designated footprint states: WA, OR, MT, NM, and/or TX

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple software systems

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure

  • Dedication to providing compassionate, patient-centered service

Note: Staff coming on board as "on-call" (non-benefited) may have the education and experience requirements waved at management discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will strengthen your application and demonstrate your readiness for success in this role:


  • Associate degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Communications, or a related field

  • Previous experience in healthcare customer service or patient relations

  • Familiarity with medical billing, insurance, or revenue cycle processes

  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems

  • Bilingual language skills (Spanish preferred, though not required)

  • NorCal (Napa, Sonoma): Min $21.82 - Max $33.99 per hour

  • Southern California, NorCal (Humboldt): Min $19.45 - Max $30.29 per hour

  • WA Puget Sound / Oregon (Portland): Min $18.66 - Max $29.06 per hour

  • Oregon (Hood River, Medford, Seaside): Min $17.39 - Max $27.09 per hour

  • Eastern Washington (Richland, Spokane, Walla Walla): Min $16.60 - Max $25.86 per hour

  • Montana: Min $15.02 - Max $23.40 per hour

  • Texas/New Mexico: Min $14.23 - Max $22.17 per hour

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
