Position Overview
We're seeking a highly organized and analytically minded Platform Distribution Operations Coordinator to join our Platform Distribution team. In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting the end-to-end distribution of our content across multiple platforms and business lines. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Technology, Finance, Legal, and Operations to drive process improvements, support partner relationships, and ensure seamless content delivery to audiences globally.

Key Responsibilities
As a Platform Distribution Operations Coordinator at arenaflex, you'll be entrusted with a diverse range of responsibilities that span project management, partner support, and operational excellence. Here's what you can expect:
- Project Coordination & Management: Lead and coordinate multiple simultaneous initiatives that drive process improvement and integration for content distribution across various business lines. Create comprehensive project plans, establish timelines, identify key milestones, communicate updates, and maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- New Platform Launches: Participate in the launch of new distribution partners and new content offerings to existing partners, supporting efforts that drive distribution and revenue growth. You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful onboarding and ongoing relationship management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across Technology, Finance, Analytics, Legal, and Business Development to fulfill organizational commitments regarding technical aspects of distribution, data, measurement, and advertising with our distribution partners.
- Deal Support: Support the distribution sales teams in deal negotiations by providing subject matter expertise related to distribution, advertising, data, and measurement. Your analytical skills will help shape strategic decisions that benefit our business.
- Content Delivery Operations: Support the process for content delivery of linear channels, FAST (Free Ad-Supported Television) channels, audio, and VOD content across set-top-box, mobile, PC, and other digital platforms including SVOD, AVOD, PVOD, electronic home video, and airline content.
- Rights Management: Support and assist with Rights Management related tasks and initiatives, including confirming distribution and music rights for various first and third-party platforms.
- Revenue & Monetization: Collaborate with various teams including Sales, Finance, and Analytics to support monetization efforts such as forecasting and revenue analysis, and inform technology roadmaps.
- Contract Renewal Processing: Coordinate initial contract renewal review processes, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and timelines are met.
- Documentation & Analysis: Identify and review contractual language for key provisions. Maintain and organize documentation including project trackers, reporting support, delivery specifications, data, and manage standard agreements and contractual language.
- Presentations & Reporting: Assist the team in developing presentations, training materials, and reports that communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
- Meeting Summarization: Summarize distribution sales meetings and provide key advertising/data references to the team, ensuring actionable insights are captured and shared.
- Stakeholder Relationship Building: Build and cultivate relationships with stakeholders across the organization in Sales, Operations, Production, Digital Media, Legal, Finance, and externally with distributors, partners, vendors, and technology developers to support knowledge sharing, capability building, and advancement of Platform Distribution goals.
- Vendor Management: Support contract negotiations with vendors to secure services and monetization capabilities.
- Portal Management: Curate business-specific information on B2B proprietary sites (e.g., Partner Zone) and perform system administrator duties as needed.
- Reporting & Analytics: Receive and review reporting from partner data feeds or internal measurement reports to inform decision-making.
- System Administration: Perform system-level maintenance on distributor databases including business intelligence tools, content management systems, and other platforms.
- Live Event Coordination: Coordinate live events including content blackouts, metadata validation, and quality assurance processes.
- Compliance Verification: Verify contractual compliance across measurement, advertising, usage guidelines, authentication, and delivery requirements.
- Digital Advertising Support: Conduct digital advertising reviews by platform to ensure campaign effectiveness and compliance.
- Team Culture: Contribute to a team environment that is open and inclusive and encourages authenticity, communication, and collaboration.
Required Qualifications & Experience
To succeed in this role, you'll need a unique combination of skills, experience, and personal attributes. We're looking for candidates who bring:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required. Degrees in Business Administration, Communications, Media Studies, or related fields are preferred.
- Professional Experience: Prior experience in media distribution, content operations, project management, or a related field is highly desirable. Experience working with streaming platforms, digital media, or entertainment distribution is a significant plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with data analysis tools and content management systems is advantageous.

Compensation & Benefits
arenaflex offers a comprehensive and competitive compensation package designed to attract, retain, and reward top talent. The hiring range for this position in California is $56,000 - $70,290 annually. The base salary actually offered will consider internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
