As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to patients and customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Processing transactions, including registering sales, collecting cash, and dispensing change as needed
  • Maintaining accurate records, including patient and medication data, and processing voids, returns, and exchanges
  • Assisting pharmacists with tasks, such as entering patient and medication data, filling prescriptions, and checking for potential interactions
  • Reporting medication errors to pharmacists and adhering to arenaflex's policies and procedures
  • Handling calls and responding to customer inquiries, including those related to prescription medications and over-the-counter products
  • Processing manual claims for external program prescription services and performing other administrative tasks as assigned
  • Assisting with stock management, including receiving, stocking, and storing shipments of medications and other products
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including the pharmacy and surrounding areas
  • Participating in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills in pharmacy operations and customer service
  • *Essential Qualifications:**
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., pharmacy, healthcare, business)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, customers, and colleagues
  • Proficiency in data entry and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with pharmacy operations and procedures, including medication management and patient care
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**
  • Previous experience in a retail or healthcare setting, preferably in a pharmacy or customer service role

  • Strong numerical skills, with the ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh medications
  • Proficiency in store stock control and inventory management
  • PTCB certification or willingness to obtain certification through arenaflex's assigned PTCB training program
