- *Key Responsibilities:**
- **Customer Experience:** + Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.+ Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.+ Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- **Operations:** + Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.+ Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items.+ Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested.+ Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.+ Keep counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records.+ Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader.
- **Pharmacy Operations:** + Assist pharmacists with prescription processing, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs.+ Verify medicine is correct and check for possible interactions.+ Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to company policies and procedures.+ Review and comply with the arenaflex Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
- **Administrative Tasks:** + Process manual claims for third-party program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner.+ Perform other clerical duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager.
- **Inventory Management:** + Assist with inventory management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals.+ Maintain knowledge of company asset protection techniques and file claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods involving Rx drugs.
- **Store Maintenance:** + Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products).+ Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise.+ Complete resets and revisions as directed.+ Assist with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures.
- **Additional Responsibilities:** + Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine.+ Assume web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers.+ Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.
- *Essential Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy or retail environment, preferably in a customer-facing role.
