We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Integrated Data Analyst to join our Flight Operations Training team. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of flight safety through data-driven insights and analysis.

Position Overview

As an Integrated Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will serve as a subject matter expert for all Integrated Data Collection and Analysis Tool (IDCAT) related analyses, including support for the Advanced Qualification Program (AQP). You will analyze data collected from Flight Safety Programs to provide concise, actionable insights through our Data Integration Group (DIG). This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about storytelling with data and wants to make a significant impact on the future of flight operations training.

Key Responsibilities


  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly FAA reports

  • Administer all components of the IDCAT software, including customer support and feedback monitoring for Flight Instructors/Evaluators during observation data entry into IDCAT

  • Support all IDCAT software-related administrative responsibilities, including account management, new command support, and system troubleshooting

  • Download Tableau data to the arenaflex server and populate current dashboards

  • Analyze, create, and visualize data in Tableau workbooks and dashboards

  • Categorize and organize Instructor/Evaluator measured devices and feedback for assessment

  • Support IDCAT observation form format and generate/create data collection paperwork within the software

  • Perform regular education data analyses as defined in AC 120-54a and identify gaps of effectiveness in current Flight Ops Training

  • Represent Flight Ops Safety in decision-making discussions

  • Assist in and provide assessment assistance for quarterly data examination of the Data Integration Agency (DIG) and AQP

  • Execute and deliver data requests as needed to support the Flight Ops Training (AQP) staff

  • Execute IDCAT Inter-Rater Reliability data assessment and facilitate IDCAT academic content

  • May perform other duties as directed by leadership

Essential Qualifications

Education



  • Required: High School Diploma or GED

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Data Science, Statistics, Aviation, or related field)

Experience


Intermediate level experience with demonstrated expertise in:



  • Data assessment and visualization

  • Project management

  • Tableau data visualization

  • Complex dataset assessment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Intermediate analytical abilities with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Broad knowledge of database management, assessment of large and complex databases, and data visualization skills (Tableau, Alteryx, etc.)

  • Knowledge of integrating qualitative and quantitative datasets

  • Intermediate knowledge of statistics and math concepts

  • Must be detail-oriented with strong research abilities

  • Knowledge of airline operations and proficiency in building trust with all levels of employees

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite; experience in developing presentations with strong writing, speaking, and presentation abilities

  • Excellent partnering, communication, and negotiation skills in working with different teams and departments

  • Ability to resolve complex problems and perform duties with minimal supervision

  • Ability to adapt to various situations and adopt new techniques and methodologies as needed to efficiently meet organizational objectives

  • Ability to be proactive, self-motivated, possess a strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence

Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience in aviation safety or flight operations

  • Familiarity with FAA regulations and reporting requirements

  • Previous experience with training program analysis

  • Knowledge of Advanced Qualification Program (AQP) methodologies

Work Environment and Culture

This position is a hybrid role based out of our Corporate Campus in Dallas, TX, requiring employees to work at our facility for a minimum of three days per week.
