Our Trade, Development, and Character association drives the product and tech ecosystem for payments, packaging, tiering, and other business and development stages across Disney's streaming products, as well as the unified character across Disney's products, parks, and experiences.

  • *The Role**

As an HR Business Partner, you'll lead and collaborate with all HR projects and initiatives on behalf of the client group through partnership across key business and HR stakeholders. You'll serve as a subject matter expert to business leaders on all talent matters, including organizational effectiveness, leadership effectiveness, change management, organizational design, and learning opportunities. Your primary focus will be on building powerful and effective working relationships with internal partners and clients, driving business results through a consultative, "influence without authority" approach.

  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • Establish and maintain a deep understanding of the business, with a focus on building strong working relationships with internal partners and clients.
  • Proactively evaluate business and organizational performance to suggest and drive action through a consultative approach.
  • Mentor leaders on HR strategies, processes, and management issues, including talent planning, learning and development, employee engagement and inclusion, and performance management to advance a culture of continuous growth and innovation.
  • Embody arenaflex's values of adaptability, agility, transparency, readiness, and global thinking, seeking out innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Provide timely and effective support to leaders and employees, prioritizing needs and driving completion.
  • Analyze HR data and trends, with the ability to present findings in a clear and compelling manner that informs recommendations.
  • Collaborate with headcount and resource management teams to ensure effective recruitment and talent acquisition processes.
  • Utilize understanding of individual and organizational dynamics to support onboarding, talent management, internal mobility, and overall team development.
  • Partner with DEI functional teams and employee resource groups to execute and measure the impact of key diversity initiatives.
  • Evaluate talent capabilities and development needs based on business strategy, collaborating with learning partners to design and deliver development experiences that close gaps between current and future capabilities.
  • Lead organizational design projects to streamline and implement new designs, roles, or processes that drive speed and productivity, supporting rapidly changing business needs.
  • Collaborate with other HR colleagues, fostering a positive work relationship, and working together on projects and initiatives across various teams within Disney Entertainment and arenaflex.
  • *Required Capabilities and Qualifications**
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally within a tech organization working with software development or product teams.
  • Experience working with senior leaders in an "influence without authority" role.
  • Ability to perform with a "focus in" mindset, equally proficient at thinking strategically and functionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage ambiguity, addressing issues that may not always have a process or framework in place, and potentially with conflicting needs or perspectives.
  • Strong business acumen, with a sharp ability to process new information quickly.
  • Proven ability to influence and partner within a diverse organization to drive business results.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to rapidly interpret data, identify trends, and suggest solutions.
  • Autonomous work style, balancing the need for collaboration with minimal management.
  • *Education**

Four-year degree from an accredited college, ideally in Business, HR Management, Psychology, or a related field, with relevant work experience.

The base salary will be commensurate with internal value and may vary based on the candidate's geographic location, work-related experience, skills, and qualifications, among other factors. A bonus or long-term incentive units may be included as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of clinical, financial, or other benefits, depending on the level and position offered.
