- *Job Summary:**
arenaflex is seeking an experienced Full Stack Transportation Operations Manager to lead our California distribution network. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all California cooling and distribution site operations to create a highly efficient network. You will drive business cases to maintain, grow, and modernize the CA distribution network for future cooling, storage, transportation, and handling needs. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, experience in managing 3PLs, and a proven track record of driving results and improving processes.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- **Lead California Distribution Network:** Oversee all California cooling and distribution site operations to create a highly efficient network.
- **Drive Business Cases:** Support and drive extravagant business cases to maintain, grow, and modernize the CA distribution network for future cooling, storage, transportation, and handling needs.
- **Manage 3PLs:** Direct and oversee 3PLs, applying strategic planning to maximize influence control, navigate complex situations, and achieve the best results for the business.
- **Lead Cross-Functional Teams:** Lead cross-functional teams to streamline organization goals and objectives, including production, supply chain, transportation, sales, and finance.
- **Track and Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):** Track, investigate, convey, and improve key performance metrics to drive business growth and efficiency.
- **Present Weekly Office Reports:** Present weekly office reports at grower meetings to ensure transparency and open communication.
- **Foster a Culture of Continuous Improvement:** Drive a culture of continuous improvement, customer/service focus, and cost reduction.
- **Ensure Compliance:** Oversee departmental action to ensure compliance with health regulations, guidelines, and company standards.
- *Essential Qualifications:**
- **Bachelor's Degree:** Four-year college education in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, or similar experience.
- **10+ Years of Experience:** 10 or more years of experience in Warehousing, Transportation, Planned Operations, and Inventory Management.
- **3PL Management:** Experience in managing 3PLs and applying strategic planning to maximize influence control.
- **Leadership Experience:** Proven leadership experience in managing a team of business professionals.
- **Bilingual:** Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- **Excellent Communication Skills:** Superb public speaking skills and the ability to convey at all levels.
- **Change Management:** Ability to drive change and continuous improvement.
- **Process Management:** Experience with process management and practical execution of technology required.
- **Logical Thinking:** Logical ability to create and screen quantifiable objectives.
- **California Driver's License:** California driver's license and qualification for use of company vehicle.
