Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. Job Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:


  • Developing software programs that process, store, and serve data to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

  • Designing and developing data systems and pipelines to organize, acquire, and standardize data that facilitates generating insights and addresses reporting needs.

  • Writing ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) procedures, designing database structures, and developing tools for real-time and offline analytic processing.

  • Developing data pipelines that are scalable, repeatable, and secure.

  • Troubleshooting software programs and procedures for data consistency and integrity.

  • Integrating data from multiple sources, ensuring that they adhere to data best practices and accessibility requirements.

  • Effectively resolving issues and roadblocks as they occur.

  • Interacting with internal and external stakeholders and/or managers to clarify complex records associated with assigned activities.

Basic Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:


  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as computer science, information technology, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in cloud-based technologies.

  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and database management systems.

  • Experience setting up and maintaining key relationships with internal (colleagues, business partners, and leadership) and external (business community, customers, and vendors) stakeholders in a matrix business environment.

  • Experience reading and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions that drive business outcomes and inform decision-making.

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes, both within and outside the state.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with experience in:


  • REST API development.

  • Azure software deployment.

  • Azure technologies, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, using Python or Scala, App Services, Azure Data Lake, Azure Functions, Event Hubs, Event Grids, and Logic App.

  • Building Azure DevOps pipelines to enable CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation.
