We're seeking an experienced Data Center Engineer to join our team in Nevada, USA. As a Data Center Engineer, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our data centers, ensuring that our infrastructure is running smoothly and efficiently. You'll work closely with our teams to identify and resolve technical issues, develop and implement new procedures, and drive innovation in the field of data center management.

  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • Ownership of all data center modifications, events, incidents, and troubles from start to finish, including overseeing the completion of post-mortems, root cause analysis, and follow-up decision-making moves.
  • Responsible for ensuring the maintenance and preservation of web-site-critical facility infrastructure or a data center are deliberate and done to the quality interest of the company.
  • Responsible for Asset and Inventory control.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, emergency response procedures, preventive maintenance programs, and all technical documentation.
  • Ensure standardization and consistency with quality-in-class working practices. (Technical Writing Skills and Automation)
  • Develop a comprehensive, deep understanding of the design intent, operational options, and contingency plans associated with all data center systems.
  • Manage the engineering aspects of the data centers associated with economic and fee control, code and regulatory compliance, employee control, workforce education and development.
  • Health & Safety, local statutory requirements, environmental and power control.
  • Develop and supply the daily engineering reviews and ensure adherence to agreed deliverables including SLA's and KPI's.
  • Communicate working philosophies, technical records, targets, and expectations to arenaflex employees and to the seller vital centers control groups.
  • Providing hands-on facility support where required (e.g., setup of new equipment, decommissioning of equipment, replacement of defective equipment, internal audits, etc.)
  • Oversee technical compliance auditing and the effective and timely near-out of corrective action plans. Perform annual operational reviews with a focus on compliance with the arenaflex requirements and all relevant regulatory requirements. (Audits)
  • Manage the development and delivery of the portfolio of Energy/Environmental Management Programs. Stay abreast of data center business innovation.
  • *Essential Qualifications**
  • At least 2 years of experience in data center operations and on-name support for data center centers.
  • An undergraduate degree in a technical field (EE, Mech E, Industrial E).
  • An excellent knowledge of the character of undertaking critical systems (Data Centers, Hospitals, Power plants, military centers, etc.).
  • The candidate should be a self-starter and independent worker.
  • Ability to clear up troubles at their root, stepping back to recognize the wider context.
  • Previous seller negotiation and control skills for data center and/or improve production contracts.
  • Ability to write and evaluate correct and complete guide procedures, system documentation, and problem monitoring entries.
  • Shows excellent judgment and instincts in decision-making under pressure.
  • Ability to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Proactively and constantly enhance his/her level of knowledge about arenaflex's business and applicable technologies.
  • Able to illustrate his/her capability to take ownership of technical problems delivered to him/her by his/her client base. If the candidate is not able to solve certain problems by himself/herself, he/she should display a willingness to actively interact different support groups to force it to decision.
