Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Field Service Manager to provide essential leadership and support to our flight attendant workforce. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing large teams of flight attendants, driving performance across key metrics including safety, reliability, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. You will serve as a mentor, coach, and visible leader who embodies arenaflex's core values while fostering a culture of trust, respect, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
As a Field Service Manager at arenaflex, you will be entrusted with a diverse range of responsibilities that are essential to the success of our In-Flight operations. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Team Leadership & Development: Build positive relationships with flight attendants and leadership teams to maintain high levels of employee engagement, accountability, and flexibility across the workforce.
- Performance Management: Oversee the performance-based management of large flight attendant teams, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as safety, reliability, customer satisfaction, and financial metrics. This includes recognition, training, and the delivery of both positive and constructive feedback.
- Safety & Compliance: Promote health, wellness, and a safe working environment while ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and operational procedures. Champion safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and methods.
- Quality Assurance: Responsible for addressing quality assurance issues including uniform compliance, overall performance standards, and customer satisfaction metrics. Ensure all team members meet arenaflex's high standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with base support staff, various departments, and internal/external stakeholders including union representative groups to provide information and solutions for continuous improvements in base operational needs and staff or administrative issues.
- Leadership Flight Program: Participate in our leadership flying program, which includes experiencing on-board customer and employee engagement while supporting the flight attendant team directly.
- Time-Sensitive Response: Proactively respond to and follow up on time-sensitive matters and competing needs requiring base communication, input, and feedback within established timelines.
- Flight Attendant Support: Provide essential support to flight attendants before, during, and after flight operations, serving as a reliable point of contact for operational questions and concerns.
- Project Coordination: Act as contact and support for assigned projects within the base and/or division, ensuring successful implementation and communication.
- Remote Workforce Communication: Communicate regularly with the remote flight attendant workforce from the base location, maintaining connection and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications:
- Ability to manage multiple and shifting needs in a high-speed and constantly changing environment.
- Must have the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, caution, and discretion.
- Proven problem-solving skills in a high-pressure, time-critical environment.
- Experience in coaching and delivering feedback for developmental purposes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle competing priorities effectively.
- Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office applications and related technology platforms.
- If not currently flight attendant qualified, must be willing and able to successfully complete initial flight attendant training and maintain all required qualifications.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with the following experience and qualifications will be given preferential consideration:
- Two years of experience in In-Flight Administration or a related supervisory role.
- Three years of experience with arenaflex (or equivalent aviation industry experience).
- External supervisory or management experience in customer service-oriented industries.
- Working knowledge of internal airline-specific applications and systems.
- Advanced degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Previous experience managing large, diverse teams in a unionized environment.
