As an Experienced EHS Lead, you'll be responsible for providing leadership and guidance on environmental health and safety (EHS) matters across our data management and operations teams. You'll work closely with site leadership, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and arenaflex's EHS policies and procedures. Your expertise will help us maintain a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment, while also driving business growth and innovation.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Provide leadership and guidance on EHS matters, including developing and implementing EHS policies, procedures, and training programs
- Conduct site audits and inspections to identify potential EHS hazards and develop corrective actions to mitigate risks
- Collaborate with site leadership, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and arenaflex's EHS policies and procedures
- Develop and implement EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and vendors
- Conduct incident investigations and develop corrective actions to prevent future incidents
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of EHS data, including incident reports, training records, and compliance documentation
- Provide EHS support to data management and operations teams, including developing and implementing EHS procedures and protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement EHS-related projects and initiatives
- *Essential Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant EHS field, such as environmental science, occupational health, or safety engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS, with a strong background in construction, contractor management, and data center preservation and operations
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and EHS policies and procedures
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to interpret and apply EHS data and regulations
- Ability to travel to site locations as needed
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- Master's degree in a relevant EHS field
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification
- Experience with EHS software and systems, including data management and reporting tools
- Strong knowledge of EHS-related technologies, including sensors, monitoring systems, and data analytics tools
- Experience with EHS-related projects and initiatives, including developing and implementing EHS procedures and protocols
