What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Data Scientist at arenaflex, you'll serve as a strategic partner to our Talent Acquisition leadership and business teams. Your work will span the full analytical lifecycle, from data sourcing and cleaning to modeling, automation, and insight delivery. Here's what you can expect:

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders: Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and business leaders to define critical business processes and provide analytical support that drives informed decision-making across the TA function.


• Analyze complex datasets using code: Leverage your programming expertise to investigate complex datasets, design and develop data transformations, and build models that solve specific business challenges in our recruitment processes.


• Build automated data pipelines: Create flexible, efficient, and automated data processes that facilitate client-facing reporting, ensuring stakeholders have real-time access to the insights they need.


• Streamline TA operations: Automate Talent Acquisition processes to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual workloads, and enable our recruiting teams to focus on what they do best—connecting with candidates.


• Communicate insights effectively: Present findings, insights, and recommendations to business clients and leadership through clear verbal and written communications, translating complex analytical results into actionable business strategies.


• Drive continuous improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to optimize data flow processes, stay current with emerging trends in data warehousing and analytics, and manage multiple related projects simultaneously.

What We're Looking For: Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong foundation in quantitative analysis and the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practical, applied settings. Here's what we require:

• Educational background: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or Computer Science.


• Technical proficiency: Minimum of 3 years of experience with data querying languages (such as SQL), scripting languages (such as Python), or statistical/numerical programming (such as R, SAS, or Matlab).


• Analytical expertise: Three or more years of experience with machine learning and statistical modeling, including understanding of the tools, techniques, and parameters that influence model performance.


• Applied experience: Demonstrated ability to apply theoretical models in real-world business environments, not just academic settings.
