Position Overview: Data Reporting Analyst

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry Level Data Reporting Analyst to support our People Systems Team. In this role, you will be responsible for enabling the People Systems Team and presenting data solutions and analytics to every internal and external customer through preparation, maintenance, communication, and reporting.

You will assist with organizational strategy and overall performance by identifying and communicating trends for organizational optimization. This role offers significant exposure to various aspects of our business operations, including human capital management, compensation, payroll, recruiting, absence management, and knowledge management. You'll collaborate with Product Managers and Subject Matter Experts to enhance our systems and processes, making a tangible impact on organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Reporting Analyst at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:


  • Data Request Management: Intake file requests and understand specific reporting requirements, including date range, data fields, and customer end-use purpose. You will serve as the primary point of contact for data-related inquiries and ensure that all requests are processed accurately and timely.

  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Interpret and reconcile data discrepancies with the purpose of delivering the most accurate reporting data. You will be responsible for identifying anomalies, investigating variances, and ensuring data integrity across all reporting platforms.

  • Custom Report Development: Create custom data evaluations for use by human resource teams and other departments. You will design and develop reports that meet the unique needs of various stakeholders, ensuring that the right information reaches the right people at the right time.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with reporting customers to refine evaluations and improve the quality of deliverables. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.

  • System Implementation Support: Confer with stakeholders involved to ensure the successful functioning of newly implemented systems or processes. You will provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle.

  • Data Integrity Assurance: Ensure data integrity is maintained by efficiently interpreting variances and outliers and presenting findings to Leadership. You will proactively identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.

  • Compliance and Security: Ensure proper data protection and privacy guidelines, roles, and guidelines are applied in all aspects of data handling and reporting. You will maintain confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory requirements.

  • Issue Resolution: Resolve escalated troubles through the research of discrepancies. You will troubleshoot complex data issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.

  • Process Automation: Blend and automate data to improve efficiency and reduce manual processing. You will identify opportunities for automation and work to streamline data workflows.

  • Additional Duties: May perform other duties as directed by Leadership, supporting the overall objectives of the People Systems Team and the organization.

Essential Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:


  • Education: High School Diploma or GED is required. While advanced degrees are not mandatory, a strong educational foundation is essential for success in this role.

  • Work Experience: Entry-level experience is acceptable. We are seeking individuals who are eager to develop their talents and knowledge in relevant data, analytical, and problem-solving roles. Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, or related fields is a plus but not required.

  • Authorization: Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the USA as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.

  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to use a PC and office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the needs of the job. Strong typing skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications are desirable.

  • Communication Skills: Ability to speak and interact with others in the English language to meet the needs of the job. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
