Position Overview

We are looking for a talented individual to fill the role of Cybersecurity Analyst Intern (Part-Time) based in Dallas, USA. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $25/hour with 8-hour work shifts. Key Responsibilities

As a Cybersecurity Analyst Intern at arenaflex, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Incident Response Support: Assist the team in responding to security incidents, including identifying the nature and scope of breaches, containing threats, and implementing recovery procedures to restore normal operations.
• Threat Analysis: Collaborate with senior analysts to examine security breaches, analyze attack vectors, and document findings to improve future defenses and prevent recurrence.
• Risk Assessment: Work with business clients to conduct needs analysis related to systems and business processes to develop quality technical solutions that minimize security risks.
• Compliance Alignment: Ensure that all security solutions align with internal tooling, business processes, and adherence to departmental standards and regulatory requirements.
• Project Management: Manage timelines for planning, coding, testing, and implementing solutions to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget constraints.
• Communication: Serve as a resource to ensure effective communication between business units and Technology Teams, translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Testing Participation: Take part in systems testing and acceptance testing to validate the effectiveness of security measures and identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, responses, and improvements to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or currently enrolled in such a program).


• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.


• Basic knowledge of technical environments and systems architecture.


• Understanding of information security and risk mitigation principles, theories, and methodologies.


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple and simultaneous projects under tight deadlines.
