We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Trainee to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Trainee, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment. With a focus on customer satisfaction, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, groups, and providers through various communication channels.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Research and respond to customer inquiries by accessing our claims processing system and other informational sources
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to customer/group and provider questions through telephone contact and/or written communication
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date departmental records and files
  • Operate office equipment, including personal computers, calculators, copiers, fax machines, and other devices
  • Make corrections to claims and eligibility
  • Enter new claims, eligibility, and subscriber information into our mainframe system
  • Review subscriber coverage to determine type and level of benefits
  • *Essential Qualifications:**
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One year of customer service experience in a business environment that requires the use of a computer program to assist the customer, preferably in a call center, and/or dental experience
  • Successful completion of the customer service simulation test (minimum score of 62 out of a possible 100) (assessment waived if candidate previously passed test while at arenaflex or if previously held Customer Service Trainee, Customer Service Advisor, or Customer Service Associate position)
  • Ability to work in a remote environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**
  • Previous experience in a dental or healthcare environment
  • Knowledge of dental benefits and insurance plans
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
