Position Overview

We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to fill permanent, full-time Customer Service Representative positions. This role offers the flexibility of working from home while contributing to a team that genuinely cares about helping members understand and maximize their prescription benefits.

Schedule Details:



  • Hours: 35-40 hours per week (Sunday through Sunday)


  • Shift Flexibility: Must be available to work any 8-hour shift within our operating hours of 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM local time


  • Training: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST for 4-5 weeks


  • Overtime: May be required based on business needs


Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the first point of contact for members seeking assistance with their prescription benefits. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:


  • Inbound Call Management: Respond professionally to incoming calls from customers regarding benefit eligibility questions, prescription status inquiries, and general pharmacy benefit information

  • Customer Education: Guide and inform customers about their prescription benefits, including proper use of their plan, formulary details, costs, and the status of orders, claims, or inquiries

  • Active Listening & Documentation: Communicate appropriate concerns while listening attentively to customers, accurately documenting all required information in our computer systems

  • Issue Resolution: Identify customer issues and correspond effective solutions and measures to consumers, pharmacies, and physicians regarding prescription orders and reorders

  • Outbound Communication: Make outbound phone calls to customers regarding prescription orders and payment concerns

  • System Navigation: Research complex issues related to member prescriptions and pharmacy benefits across multiple databases while maintaining proficiency in computer navigation and system toggling

  • Confident Engagement: Interact with customers confidently and compassionately, ensuring each interaction leaves the customer feeling valued and supported

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:


  • Education: High School Diploma or GED (or higher) OR comparable work experience

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, including providing service over the phone

  • Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of computers and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system functions

  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Basic understanding of Microsoft Word (ability to open and navigate a word document) and Microsoft Excel (ability to open and navigate a spreadsheet)

  • Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during typical business hours of Sunday through Sunday, 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM local time in Pacific or Mountain Time zones, depending on your location

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will strengthen your application and may be considered during the selection process:


  • Previous contact center experience

  • Additional customer service experience in related industries

  • Proficiency with Adult Learning principles in digital environments

  • Experience working with digital communication systems including Internet, Chat, and email platforms

  • Background in Healthcare or Insurance environments, including familiarity with medical terminology, medical policy data, or benefit program design

  • Community service experience, particularly in behavioral health, disease prevention, health promotion, and behavior change (working with vulnerable populations)

Telecommuting Requirements

As a remote team member at arenaflex, you must meet the following technical and workspace requirements:


  • Dedicated Workspace: Must have a dedicated workspace set up that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy

  • Data Security: Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure

  • Internet Connection: Must reside in a location that can receive a arenaflex-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

  • Hardwired Connection: Must be able to connect directly to the internet through a hard wire (either directly to the modem or router)—wireless connections are not acceptable for this position
