- *Job Summary**
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll interact directly with patients to influence generic utilization, therapy changes, answer questions, solve problems, provide education, and maintain our company's reputation for high-quality service. This role requires independent and self-directed performance while working across a greater team. You'll work closely with our Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications while working closely with the patient.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Communicate the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients with a goal of providing overall savings to patients and clients
- Conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications while working closely with the patient
- Effectively handle incoming or outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers while proactively gaining patient and order information
- Maintain a working knowledge of insurance, healthcare, reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing, processing of new referrals, and providing customer education
- Routine assessment and problem identification with appropriate escalation to a pharmacist
- Provide empathetic, personalized support to patients and clients, resolving their questions and concerns on the first call
- *Essential Qualifications**
- 1+ years of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone
- 6+ months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or another similar application
- Must reside in the state of Nevada
- Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required

- Experience working in a healthcare or pharmaceutical setting
- Knowledge of insurance, healthcare, and reimbursement-related requirements
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- *Compensation and Perks**
We offer a competitive compensation package, with a pay range of $17.00 - $28.45 per hour. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
