We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team in Nevada. As a key member of our team, you'll provide exceptional telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • **New Patient Medication Orders**: Verify and revivify benefits, translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system, communicate and collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues.
  • **Reorder Processing**: Process reorders, verify benefits, and communicate with patients and internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • **Patient Communication**: Provide compassionate and genuine care to patients, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • **Collaboration**: Work closely with internal teams, including insurance companies, healthcare providers, and pharmacy staff, to ensure seamless care and service.
  • *Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • **One year of experience** in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone.
  • **One year of work experience** with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications.
  • **One year of computer keyboarding experience**, skills, and aptitude.
  • **Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent**.
  • *Preferred Qualifications**
  • **Prefer healthcare work experience** and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology.
  • **Experience working in a fast-paced environment**, with a strong focus on customer service and patient care.
  • *Training and Development**

As a new hire, you'll participate in a comprehensive training program, which includes:

  • **4 weeks of training**, with a PTO blackout period.
  • **Training schedules**: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST.
  • **Post-training schedule**: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM PST.
