As a Customer Service Representative - Self Storage Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing daily operations, and driving sales growth at one of our self-storage facilities in Apple Valley, MN. You will work independently, assessing customer storage needs, making suggestions, and offering packing and moving supplies. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment, conducting daily storage unit inspections, and managing cash drawer operations.

  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Assess customer storage needs, make suggestions, and offer packing and moving supplies
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including sweeping, mopping, debris removal, and wiping windows
  • Conduct daily storage unit inspections, confirm inventory availability, and ensure spaces are ready to rent
  • Manage, audit, balance cash drawer, prepare and make daily deposits
  • Help keep customers current with payment and make collection calls when required
  • Work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
  • *Qualifications**
  • 1-2 years of customer service-centered sales experience in retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based companies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to manage cash drawer operations and make change
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
